Oval Agate Cabochon

This banded blue-grey coloured agate cabochon was cut from material collected along the beaches of Haida Gwaii, British Columbia, Canada by local prospector Herb Hyder.

Expertly shaped to highlight a section of chalcedony-like material with delicate banding, the stone features a rich, vibrant glowing semi-transparent grey-white to blue colours, which shift depending on light and backing conditions. The banding is less visible from some viewing angles then others.
