Pear Shaped Labradorite Cabochon

This petite, freeform pear-shaped labradorite cabochon measures approximately 15.00 × 7.75 x 4.65 mm and weighs 4.00 CT. The stone exhibits bright electric blue-green-yellow labradorecent flashes, under a viel of glitter aventurescence. The overall colour of this stone is a patchy brown to medium grey blue.

Ethically sourced and cut in Canada, the Labradorite comes from the Nain region of northern Labrador, the original discovery area for this iconic feldspar. This cabochon is a beautiful example of true Labrador labradorite, perfect for jewellery or a collector seeking material from the stone’s namesake region. The stone was ethically collected by local Labrador prospector Edmund Saunders and his family.
