This round cabochon was cut in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, from rough collected on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, by local prospector Lauren, from VancouverIsland_Dallasite.

Flower stone is also sometimes called chrysanthemum stone and is a unique variety of porphyritic basalt.
