Round Heckmanite Cabochon

This unique cabochon, showcases hackmanite, a sulphur-rich variety of sodalite, in it's natural host rock. This piece highlights a sophisticated, natural palette of cream, grey and black. With a weight of 8.15 CT and dimensions of 15.5 x 5.25 mm, this stone is a refined choice for a custom jewelry piece.

Hackmanite puts on a show under long-wave ultraviolet light displaying a bright orange fluorescence, as shown in the last photo. The rough used to cut this was collected from the Mont Saint-Hilaire region, of Quebec making it an excellent addition for collectors or a striking centerpiece for a unique, handcrafted design.
