Round Amethyst Cabochon

This beautiful Canadian amethyst cabochon was cut from rough sourced in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The material was originally discovered by local prospector Josh March as a damaged amethyst point, then cut and polished in Canada.

This low-dome, flat-back cabochon measures 9.55 × 5.15 mm, weighs 3.85 ct, displays magenta-to-blue undertones depending on the lighting, and has an overall milky appearance.
