This elegant oval corundum cabochon from Canada features deep purple-red ruby tones and measures 15.00 x 9.95 x 5.80 mm and weighs 7.70 CT. The ruby material originates from Hopedale, Newfoundland and Labrador, where it was ethically and hand-mined by local prospector Edmund Saunders. This cabochon was cut here in Canada.
