Oval Canadian Labradorite Cabochon

This oval labradorite cabochon measures 24.65 × 14.50 x 3.35 mm, and weighs 11.55 CT. The stone exhibits bright blue labradorecent flashes under a viel of aventurescence or shiller which sweeps across the stone as it moves. This stone has a semi-transparent chocolate brown body colour.

Ethically sourced and cut in Canada, the Labradorite comes from the Nain region of northern Labrador, the original discovery area for this iconic feldspar. This cabochon is a beautiful example of true Labrador labradorite, perfect for jewellery or a collector seeking material from the stone’s namesake region.
