Oval Labradorite Cabochon

This oval labradorite cabochon measures 23.15 × 13.70 x 7.60 mm, and weighs 20.85 CT. The stone exhibits bright firey labradorecent flashes of yellow, orange, blue and green along with a subtle glitter adverecense that sweeps across the stone in a cats-eye like manner.

Ethically sourced and cut in Canada, the Labradorite comes from the Nain region of northern Labrador, the original discovery area for this iconic feldspar. This cabochon is a beautiful example of true Labrador labradorite, perfect for jewellery or a collector seeking material from the stone’s namesake region. The labradorite round was collected by local prospector Edmund Saunders and his family.
